• GIANTS travel to the MCG to face Richmond after a disappointing loss to Brisbane last week. Ian ‘Bobby’ Hill will debut for the GIANTS.
• Canberra Demons are back at Manuka, taking on Redland from UNSW Canberra Oval on Saturday 12PM
• The Demons have made five changes to last week’s team and a win could put them back inside the top 6.
• The Eastern Allies have fought hard but have 2 losses in the AFLW U18 National Championships.
• Belconnen’s Emily Pease has featured in the best players in both games so far.
• The U16 NSW/ACT Rams have 2 wins from two games in the U16 National Championships with one game to go against Tasmania on Saturday.
• the NSW/ACT U17 Rams have beaten Queensland in a futures match, with another to be played in August against Victoria Country.
• The National Inclusion Carnival will host the first female exhibition match. The carnival kicks off July 15.
• Alan Ray, Jason Gilbert, Joanne Foster and Brian Read will be inducted into the AFL Canberra Hall of Fame.
• Tony Wynd, Keith Miller and Kevin ‘Cowboy’ Neale will be honoured as Legends at the AFL Canberra Hall of
Fame.
• AFL Canberra and Cricket ACT are working together to host a July School Holiday clinic for participants to try a number of sports.
