• GIANTS are back in town, taking on Hawthorn at UNSW Canberra Oval from 7:50PM on Friday night for the Round 21 Clash.
• GIANTS Fan Day presented by UNSW Canberra will be held at UNSW Canberra Oval on Saturday morning from 10:15am. This will include a signing session followed by the GIANTS Academy U15s All Stars match at 12pm.
• Tuggeranong veteran Ben ‘Magic’ Cleaver is set to play his 200th senior game of football this weekend when the Hawks clash with the Gungahlin Jets at Greenway Oval on Saturday afternoon.
• The Canberra Demons have a bye this week with only 3 rounds remaining.
• Matt McGrory (Gungahlin / GIANTS Academy), Angus Baker (Canberra Demons) and Sam Fisher (MAFC) have been invited to the 2019 NAB AFL State Draft combine to be held in Melbourne.
• Radford College and Marist College represented Canberra at the 2019 Paul Kelly Cup at Giants Stadium on Monday.
• Round 14 of the AFL Canberra seniors competition gets underway Saturday. Community and Regional competitions conclude their home and away season this weekend across the ACT.
• Queanbeyan Tigers will don rainbow laces for their Pride Round as they host Belconnen Magpies.
• The Weston Creek Molonglo Wildcats were photographed by Chief AFL Photographer, Michael Willson last Saturday to highlight their inclusive culture.
• Marist AFC’s Josh Green, Seb Quirk, Fraser Kelly and Jarrod Gardiner + Belconnen’s Max Monaghan and Queanbeyan’s Sam Frost have been selected to represent the Under-17 Rams will take on Vic Country at Ikon Park in Melbourne on Sunday, August 11 at 10am.
